Tamron releases SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO with Built-in AF Motor for Nikon SLRs

The lightweight, compact and fast standard zoom lens (Model A09N II) is compatible with DSLRs with either full-size or APS-C sensors. The fast maximum aperture of f/2.8 is constant over the entire zoom range, providing bright viewfinder images, extremely fast autofocus, faster shutter speeds and attractive 'defocus' effects. The lens' AF motor, also making it suitable for consumer cameras such as Nikon’s D60, D40x or D40, all of which require lenses with inbuilt motor.

Tamron releases AF28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO lens with built-in AF motor for Nikon SLRs, equipped with Tamron’s Vibration Compensation mechanism

This high-power zoom lens (Model A20N II) is compatible with 35mm full-size SLR cameras and digital SLRs from Nikon. Featuring Tamron’s proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism, the new lens is especially suited to the new Nikon D60 and best-selling D40, both of which require lenses with built-in motors.

Tamron announces high-performance SP AF70-200mm F/2.8 Di LD (IF) MACRO

This lightweight, high-performance and fast tele-zoom lens is designed for DSLR cameras with 35mm full-size image sensors and APS-C sized sensors, inheriting the superior cost/performance characteristics of the acclaimed SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) (Model A09). While increases over all its dimensions are absolutely minimal, this new lens offers a MFD (minimum focusing distance) of 0.95m over the entire zoom range, giving a maximum macro magnification ratio of 1:3.1 at 200mm focal length, plus the advantages of an internal focusing (IF) system.

Tamron releases the AF18-250mm Di II and AF70-300mm Di with built-in motors for Nikon AF-S SLRs

The Tamron AF18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) and Tamron AF70-300 F/4.5-6 Di LD Macro 1:2 have been released with a built-in motor for the Nikon AF-S mount. The lightweight, compact and ultra high-power zoom lenses have been designed for Nikon digital SLR cameras such as the Nikon D40.
