Three different lens bodies for different types of vision
No two eyes are exactly the same – especially those of an artist. Given these infinite possibilities, Lensbaby offers three distinctly different lens bodies for different types of shooters. Each lens gets you to the same place: a Sweet Spot of sharp focus surrounded by gradually increasing blur.
But each one gets you there in a way that reflects your individual personality and shooting style. So which Lensbaby has your name on it?
CONTROL FREAK – methodical and step-by-step
The evolution of the Lensbaby 3G, this is an ideal selective focus lens for tabletop and macro photography. You can compress and bend the lens to find your desired Sweet Spot, and then lock it in place with the push of a button. Once locked, you can fine focus using the barrel focusing ring and fine tune the tilt with the three metal posts.
COMPOSER – smooth and precise
This completely new ball-and-socket configuration that delivers smooth selective focus photography with unparalleled ease. Simply tilt the lens to a desired angle, focus with a traditional barrel focusing ring, and the Composer stays in the desired bent position without requiring a locking mechanism.
MUSE – fast and loose
Muse looks and acts like the original Lensbaby – focus the Muse by compressing the lens and move the Sweet Spot by bending the flexible lens tubing – but it accepts the new Optic Swap System.
Optic Swap System – a toolbox for fun
The Control Freak, Composer and Muse all use the new Optic Swap System - four interchangeable optics for different effects:
- Double Glass: sharp and crisp
- Single Glass: vintage camera feel
- Plastic: super-dreamy
- Zone plate: real trippy!
